For 34 years El Paso Drywall & Paint has provided service in the El Paso Region. The Company was founded by Ricardo Mendez. He was introduced into the trade by his father Inocencio Mendez “Chencho” His Company started in the 1950’s and introduced his sons to the trades. Ricardo began as a teenager working alongside the constriction workers learning the trades. When he turned 20 he ended up managing the business “Mendez Contractors”. In 1983 at age 23 he married and created his path which he named with the help of his “compadre” George Montelongo, El Paso Drywall & Paint. 5 years later his daughter Andrea was born “alias Ricarda” which has since then done all the heavy lifting HAHAHA. Mr. Mendez is known to be very friendly he enjoys getting to know everyone at the workplace and is very meticulous with his work. He is known to have a “laser eye” even though the optometrist claims it is a lazy eye.
